Hi, my name's Tara. I’m an Orlando-based UI/UX designer, traditional graphic designer, and seltzer connoisseur.
How did I get here? Picture it: the year is 2011. I was walking down the aisles of Bed Bath and Beyond when I saw a lovely piece of artwork for my wall, but it was not the painting that caught my eye. It was the little bit of packaging and logo design holding the painting together. It was as if all of the pieces of the design puzzle just came together. I wanted to do that. I went home and I researched more and more about this “graphic design” thing. The following week, I switched my major from Psychology to Design and never looked back. From there, I kept exploring.
I guess you could say I found the “Beyond” from that journey to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, eh? It was fun, it was exciting, and it was something that filled me with joy and love (and most importantly, passion). I love so many different facets of design from the research, the planning, the typography, and the learning. My goodness, I love the learning.
